Danco Plant & Civils was formed in 1990 & has successfully undertaken construction work in K.Z.N, Eastern Cape, Mozambique, Gauteng etc. We have carried out many contracts with organizations such as local Contractors and State Government. Over the years, the company has grown from strength to strength, having successfully completed over 100 Projects. We have grown from 10 staff to more than 200 staff.

From our original two person operation, our staff has grown to 150 skilled & dedicated workers. For each project Danco Plant & Civils provides a Project Manager, site agent, safety officer and safety rep who sees it from inception to completion. This close monitoring can avoid permitting costly delays. We understand that clients have a great deal of time, money and stress involved in a project therefore our project managers are experienced in making sure that projects are done on time, within budget and with the necessary approvals, allowing our clients to feel secure and have the ability to focus on other matters

It is crucial to achieve “zero harm “therefore Danco is dedicated, and allocates the greatest importance, to the prevention of any form of injury in terms of health and safety of its employees.

Site foremen’s, site agents, safety officers and management make sure that safety is not compromised in any circumstances by taking responsibility for employee safety, leading by example, encouraging positive safety behavior.

Our staff are trained in the use of labour intensive construction methods through NQF levels 5, which have been successfully applied in the field.

Local entrepreneurs are employed on each site. It is our aim to effectively retain a substantial percentage of expenditure within the local communities. We have helped the area by helping schools with construction access roads, soccer fields and have provided hampers for the needy.

Through our development curriculums we at Danco have successfully assisted several small contractors and, up until this day, we continue assisting them. We have a feeding scheme which has been in place since the inception of Danco Plant and civils. This is an initiative that now prepares for between 100 to 1000 people at any given time. With this thousands of people of all race colour and creed are fed daily.

We also support emerging contractors, child welfare, religious organisation, student practicals, and student bursaries allowing them too, the benefit of our expertise, experience and support.

Danco Plant is a level 1 contributor and is driven to rejoicing diversity and uniting empowerment into its business philosophy.

DANCO PLANT has been rated as a level 8CEPE and 6 SBPE with the CIDB.

The principals of Danco have a long history with the training of young professionals. It is the policy of the company to empower individuals in our fields of expertise through personal involvement and through active encouragement and sponsoring of further training
